What do you expect from people (Liberals) who are so deluded and evil that they will "Protest outside prisons and pray for the life of death row inmates committed of raping and dismembering children, and at the same time Promote Late Term Abortions which is a procedure where the Abortionist Dismembers The Living Child While Inside The Mother Womb, One Arm, One Leg at a time, and then inserts a Sharp Instrument into the Base of the Skull of the Living, Unborn Infant, so as to Collapse The Skull so that the remains of the Mutilated Infant Corpse can be Extracted without Causing the Would=Be Mother Any Cruel and Unnecessary Pain?"  What I just described is an Late Term Abortion which Every Loyal Liberal Supports, and a procedure that Obama, Illinois State Senator endorsed and as a State Senator, he even Presented a Bill that Denied all Medical or even Comfort Care for an Infant who Might Survive the Torturous Late Term Abortion Procedure.  Obama, not only Voted For This Inhumane Bill, he Authored it. 

So, if you can call yourself a Liberal, then Just Admit that you are Cruel, Heartless and Godless.  Do not be ashamed of it, sing it out loudly. Happy New Year, one and all--Was just listening to Fox morning news and the headline was as new decade begins, 2010 ushers in New Laws in Many States that Restrict things such as:  French Fry Grease Content, Smoking in Bars and Restraunts and other Establishments, Cell Phone and Driving Laws, etc.  It would be funny, if it was not so farcical, that we actually have an nation now where Do Gooders and Vocal Minorities of Radical Meddlers can Dictate to our Legislators to Pass Laws that further and further restrict our freedoms and liberties, and putting into place the Regulators, the Bureaucracy, and of course the Funding To Pay for Bigger Government to be Extracted From Taxes and Fines, while Totally Ignoring a WAR of Terror being carried out, and allowing our borders to Remain Open, while Hassling Grandmothers in Airports Looking for Terrorists, while Refusing, due to Political Correctness, To Profile and Check out Likely Terrorists, such as 23 year old Nigerian with a One Way Ticket to Detroit, Michigan, carrying nothing but a Briefcase, even after his father Reported to our Embassy that his son had Called Him and Said, "This will be my last conversation with you father." and the State Department knew this and did not put this Terrorist Suicide Bomber on a No Fly List, and we have a Border that is Open for one and all to enter at will.  But, never fear my fellow citizens and friends, you will not Die of Second Hand Smoke in a Bar, or from Blocked Arteries by eating those Greasy French Fries that you love so much.  Liberal Fascism is Deadly and it is Put Upon us by Busy Body Do-Gooder Liberals who have too much influence in this country.  California, which is the state where all these Laws originate and impose on their citizen, is Bankrupt and They have so Many Illegals in their State that they have bankrupted and caused to close over 100 hospitals.  Isn't Socialism/Liberalism wonderful, and now the Federal Government is A Massive Carbon Copy of the Lunatic California Model of Governing.  Wake Up Americans and Fight For Your Freedoms, or you will not have them much longer.

2010 ushers in even more laws restricting freedoms.  Do Gooder Liberals are destroying our nation.  When government gets to the point that they spend all their time coming up with new laws, regulations, etc. that restrict individual freedoms, rights, etc. and then put into place the bureaucratic machinery to enforce the restrictions on freedoms, they lose site of Enforcing Current and Needed Laws such as Arresting Criminals and Illegal Aliens, while they Police Bars and Restraunts to Catch Cigarette Smokers or patrol the Highways looking for somebody Not Wearing A Seat Belt, or Talking on a Cell Phone, while the Criminals run Rampant in the Streets mugging, raping, murdering and robbing, and Illegal Aliens cross our borders and Stay Here in perpetuity while thwarting Every U.S. Law, and our Public Officials and Law Enforcement Turn a Blind Eye while they Regulate Our French Fries, and give out Citations to Violators.  We must put an end to Liberal Tyranny in this nation.  Thanks and Happy New Year--Jerome

Hi Anne.  I have a blog site on TH called Take Our Schools Back.  I have advocated for parents, on a national scale, to march on their schools, and Demand that Their Children Be Taught Basic Academic Skills Only, and not all the Political Indoctrination, Brainwashing, Perverted Ideas about Society, etc. and to put an End to the Endless Standaridized Testing that only serves to Lower Standards Lower and Lower as they seek a Norm that makes it appear that children are learning more as the literacy in our nation goes lower and lower.

The demise of the public education system has a direct correlation with Federal Interventions and National Teacher Union Leadership.  In 1966, we had one of the top 3 public education systems in the world that did an excellent job of teaching Academic Skills, Civic Responsibility, Work Ethics, and Family and Community Values and Patriotism.  Today, we are at #28 in the world, and this Rapid Decline is a Direct Reflection of Federal Government Interventions, including the Creation of the U.S. Department of Education, which was a Gift From Bungling Jimmy Carter to the National  Teacher Unions that supported him and were, in large part, responsible for getting that idiot elected.  In 1978, the Official National Teacher Union Motto was and they told all their loyal followers: "Subvert From Within, and Cover your Butts."  And, in recent years, with Liberals full in Charge of Public Schools, they Subvert Openly and Brainwash Politically, with total abandon.  Thus, you have Public School Teachers who Openly Ridicule a 5th grade child who says, "My folks voted for Senator McCain."  Thus, you have Public School Teachers, Teaching Their Kindergarteners and other elementary school children to sing things like,  "Ummm Good, Obama."  These are the sorts of things that were practiced in Hitler's Germany and Mao's China, and still are taught in Cuba, Venezuela, China, Iran and in other Totalitarian Countries.  Wake Up America, Take Your Children and Their Schools back and put them under Local, Community Rule.  That is where they belong and that is where they were for over 200 years and we had Excellent Outcomes of Literate Citizens who had the skills to learn, work, and grow, and they Built This Nation.

SerpentDove, your post is spot on.  The problem with all Do Gooders, AKA Liberals, AKA Utopians, etc. is that they have Delusional Thinking that comes from their own arrogance and the belief that, Only They, know what is best for everybody else.

Every Utopian Do-Gooder Liberal that I have ever met and have known lives in clutter and has a totally unmanageable life of his or her own, and the reason for this is that they are very depressed because they believe in their Own Delusional Thoughts and Minds, that they Know What is Best For All, and that If the World Would Just listen To Them and Follow Their Ideas and Plans, that the World Would Be Perfect.

These Utopian Do-Gooder Liberals, Who Have Perfection in Their Own Deluded Minds, become Very Depressed, Angry, Hostile and Mean-Spirited when they cannot Just Get Everybody Else To See It The Way That They, Who Know All, see the world, and if they could Just Get The Word Out, that Everybody Would Get On The Band Wagon with them and all would be Wonderful in their Utopian World.

In the Meantime, the Liberal Utopian Do-Gooder becomes more and more depressed and angry and that is why so many of them become Alcoholics, Drug Addicts, commit suicides, commit homicides, and wind up living in communes or joing radical groups such as becoming Muslim, and from that, to becoming Jihadist Muslims, etc.

And, that is all the more reason that we need to return to the policy of "mandatory draft" beginning at age 18.  Not only would this get many teens off the streets and out of jails, but it would lower unemployment rates. The highest unemployment rate currently is among teens. And, with a draft, we would not have the problem of "not enough men to make the military run."  And, if women want all this equality in the military and elsewhere, I have no problem with that, with equal access, they will also have Equal Responsibility and Will be included in the Draft. And, if they become pregnant while on duty in combat or elsewhere and are unable to carry out their duties and responsibilities, they be treated the same as any other soldier who purposely injures himself therefore making himself unable or unfit to serve in military operations. Case Closed. I am all for Equality in all areas, including being responsible for successes and failures and when violations are committed, be able to accept the consequences without whining or crying "Sexism".

We must take our Counry Back, one Community, One City, One County, One State at a time.  I have a personal aim of Voting Out Every Local Politician in my county, and state.  Local politicians and state politicians have become just as Un Responsive to We, the People, as have the National Politicans.

We have to Remember that all Politics is Local. How can we rein in the Feds if we cannot even Effect Our Local School Boards who do the Feds Bidding at the Local Level.  I have been and continue to Urge Parents To Go To Their Local Schools and Demand that Their Children Only Be Taught How To Read, Write, and Do Arithmetic and how to Use Reason and Logic And Civic Responsibility and for the Schools to Uphold Traditional Community Values, Traditions, Customs and Beliefs of the Local Communities and not Teach the San Francisco Style Morality and Politics that are now Being Mandated by a Subversive U.S. Department of Education and the National Teacher Unions. Any teacher who Refuses to Do Their Jobs based on Community Standards, then that teacher is to be ousted along with Principals and School Boards who Refuse to Uphold Local Community Standards.  We now have Public School Teachers starting out in Elementary Schools who are Teaching our Children to Sing the Praises of Obama and Other Liberal Drivel.  This is the exact same things that Hitler Demanded in Nazi Germany and what Chariman Mao Demanded in Public Schools in Communist China, and we have folks in the Obama Administration who have openly Praised Chairman Mao, and Obama has Bill Ayers as an Ad Hoc Advisor on Early Childhood Education, and of course we all know that BIll Ayers is a Domestic Terrorist who has Actively Blown up Federal Buildings in an effort to Overthrow the U.S. Government. By the Way, Ayers teaches Early Childhoold Education (Brainwashing) at the University of Illinois, Chicago campus.  Case Closed. Take your children back and take their schools back.

I had a professor at Auburn University years ago who made the following statment that I have never forgotten, and it sums up what is wrong in the USA Today.

His statment was as follows, and by the way the class was Called Social Problems:

"Anytime that the Federal Government creates an agency, department, commission or bureau to deal with a "perceived" social or other problem, the problem is guaranteed Never To Improve or Be Eliminated, and in fact, the "perceived" social or other problem is "guaranteed to worsen and to grow in size" as the Agency, Department, Commission, or Bureau grows in Size, Power, Expenditures, etc. and Becomes it's Own Empire. And, for the Empire to Grow, the Empire has to Recruit and Create New Victims and Problems To Solve In Order To Justify It's Own Growth in Size, Expenditures, and Power.  And like all Empires, they Seek Growth and Power, and like all Empires, the Empires Grow To Become Despotic and will Do Anything They Can To Insure Their Own Power and Growth and Survival as an Empire.  And, like all Despotic Empires, the Despots who oversee the Empire will Fight, Lie, Cheat and Steal to protect their Empire Status."

This statement by an Intellectually Honest Professor over 3 decades ago is more true today than it was even then.  Numerous new Departments, Agencies, Commissions and Bureaus have been Created since then, and the current congress and President are creating even more of these tyrannical Empire Departments as we speak.  Wake up America!!  The time to Fight Is Now.  Let these Scoundrels in DC know that We, the People, have had enough of this Tyranny.

Benjamin, you made some good points about education.  But, the education system that has been created with Federal Interventions has been destroyed for all: blacks, whites, and others regardless of socio-economic status.

Our public edcuation system, as it exists today, has, in the vast majority of cases, dumbed down and brainwashed the entire population of children who are exposed to the system, regardless of race or socio-economic status.

It has likely impacted poor blacks and whites most as the vast majority of poor blacks and whites are single parent homes, or no-parent homes and their caretakers are either on total welfare and live in public housing, and most of the large pockets of these poor, welfare recipients live in large metro areas where Socialist Governments usually prevail.

In days past, even segregated black schools did a good job of educating their youth.  I graduated high school in 1966, and most black kids I knew who graduated from all black schools were well educated in academic skills and had good family values, a work ethic and love of God and Country.  Crime was almost unknown amongst the youth, black or white, and kids killing kids, black or white was literally unheard of.  Even the kids who dropped out of schools at age 16, black or white, already had acquired good enough academic skills and work ethic to go to work and make a life for him or herself or to pursue vocational training and apprenticeships.

While desegregation was a good thing, the way that it was handled and the resulting federal mandates, has consistently and exponentially had a detrimental effect on all kids involved in the Dumbing Down and Brainwashing that took place and is still taking place.

Public Education is a Local and State Responsibility, the Feds have no Right To be Involved Period.  Local schools should and would reflect the communities values, customs, beliefs and traditions, and not the Values, Customs, Beliefs and Traditions of Perverts and Subversives From San Francisco, or other Metro City Socialist and Subversive places such as that.  Putting school back under Local Control would mean a better and more effective education system for all. Lowering the Standards over and over has produced teachers who have teaching certificates and college educations, who do not have basic 6th grade reading, writing and arithmetic skills and cannot teach something they cannot do themselves.

It is time that more Americans become Outraged at Obama's treachery and treasonous acts against this nation and our military.

As a veteran and American Patriot, I do not recongnize Obama as Commander in Chief or POTUS, nor do I recongnize the current U.S. Congress of being representative of me or American's best interests.

We have a government that is Public Enemy #1 and it is time for all Red States To Declare their own Sovereignty and Operate Constitutionally according to the 10th amendment.  If I were still in the Military, I would have a very tough time of honoring any orders being executed by this president.  Obama and his cadre of Czars and other Subversives that he has appointed to head departments and agencies are enemies of the constitution and enemies of this nation.  Every citizen who is eligible to vote needs to get out and register and then vote these scoundrels in congress out of office in 2010 and onward, and then when we get a majority, we need to Roll Back every Policy and Law enacted by this president and current congress, then begin the dismantling of the Socialistic Agencies, Departments, Commissions, and all the laws, regulations, anad taxation associated with it all the way back to LBJ, which is where the modern day Tyranny and Usurpation of the Constitution kicked into Overdrive and under Obama and this Congress has kicked into Hyper-Drive.  Enough of this train wreck which we call Hope and Change.  The only Hope we have is to Elect These Scoundrels out of Office and make sure we never let it go as far as it has, ever again.
It is time for a Citizens Army to rise up in every community in this nation to safegaurd a Future for Our Children. The lawless anarchists in and out of government have been in charge long enough. And, when the ACLU lawyers protest, they need to be Arrested as Terrorists and Subversives which is what they represent.

And, when Libs speak of Racism, they automatically assume that Racism is always White on Black Racism, when, in Fact, most Racism today is Racism by Blacks who are Racist and hate whites.  Listen to Jeremiah Wright and the Black Panthers and Black Muslims, and Louis Farakhan teach and preach their hatred for Whites, and then look at Obama.  Obama sat in Racist Jeremiah Wright's church and listened to Hate Speech for over 40 years and he is good buddies with Farakhan, Black Panthers and Black Muslims. We have a problem with Racism in this country, but it is not White on Black Racism, it is the other way around. But, of course, blacks believe they are justified and Entitled to be Racist, because they are Victims.

You can lay Fort Hood and all the other nonsense that is going on in this country on the laps of both political parties for the past 40 or so years who have put political ambitions and their own aspirations above principles by pandering to every lunatic fringe in the country.  The lunatic fringes protest and lobby, and congressional leaders and presidents have caved to their lunatic demands and all this has lead to the many factions we now have in this country.

Political Correctness and Cultural Diversity was born out of this lunacy as politicians were too gutless to say, "We are all Americans, so stop with all these demands at division."

The Gay Rights movement, for example, began to equate their plight with the Civil Rights Movement.  The Illegal Aliens have the audacity to have demonstrations and burn U.S. Flags while flying Mexican Flags and Demanding Equal Rights before ever doing one thing Legal in the nation to begin with. Instead of Arresting and Deporting these Lunatics who were on our soil illegally and demonstrating for Equal Rights in a land that they disrespect every law we have the moment they step across the border illegally.

And, the government and MSM refuses to even report on all the outrageous crimes these Peace Loving Peasants looking for a better life commit once they come here.

This Cultural Diversity and Politicl Correctness is destroying our nation, and the politicians and MSM and Hollywood keep participating in the cover up of crimes, including this latest Terrorist Attack at Fort Hood, Texas. 

But get this clear, from now on we have a new battle cry as we take this nation back:  "Remember Fort Hood";  This will go along with Remember "The Arkansas Army Recruiting Shooter";  "Remember the DC Beltway Terrorist"; "Remember 9-11"; "Remember Obama's Apology Tour";  "Remember LaRaza";  "Remember the Congressional Black Caucus Tour to Cuba";  "Remember Revolution Muslim, a homegrown terrorist gang in New York City";

We patriots have a lot to remember and we have a lot to fight for.
